Love this watch! May 09, 2007
By Jane Palmer I bought this watch after discovering that I love scuba diving! I have always liked Citizen watches for their quality and reliability. This watch is no exception. It is very stylish, durable, keeps perfect time and is totally green! Just wear it, and under normal use, it will stay charged forever, no batteries to buy every few years, no watch battery dying at just the wrong time. Actually, my husband and I each got one of these watches after his watch died on vacation, in a rather remote location where there were no replacement batteries. Do yourself a favor, if you need a reliable watch that looks great, and keeps even Al Gore happy, buy this watch. Oh, and this is a great price!

Fine quality woman's sports watch Apr 13, 2006
By J. Edvenson This is a fine quality women's sports watch. The look is Rolex Submariner in style. The brushed steel casing is very nice quality, and the crystal is superior. This eco-drive watch never stops, so they say, and is solar powered. My problem: few women's sports watches are both small, good looking, and super-water tight. The closest I have found had a plastic top, which scratched easily. I'm rather hard on it, and it looks gorgeous, continually. No stopwatch function, but superior for saltwater swimming and saunas. Bezel hour-measure is first I've had, and is really handy for both duration and time-setting within the hour. The clock itself has such a lovely deep rich look, and I may get a different band if the rubberized one disappoints, over time...but I'm told I won't any longer need a new women's sports watch every second year.
. . . and now it is Summer, 2009, and this watch just keeps looking gorgeous. I'm sure I'm knocking it constantly, and the edges and crystal show absolutely no signs of wear. I changed bands to a brushed steel bracelet style with cross-latch under, and it suits the watch much better than the rubbery band that followed with the purchase. A real hardy winner of a watch!

Absolutely perfect sports watch! Feb 17, 2008
By HeidiO I have been looking for a diving watch that will fit my 5'2" frame so I can wear it everyday instead of just for diving. I even considered buying a small men's watch and just dealing with the largeness. Then I was on vacation when my $20 watch died and found this watch in a mall near where I stayed. I bought it right away because it fit perfectly and looked great! When I went back to the hotel room, I logged on to check the price online. I had to return my watch to the store and buy it from Amazon instead because even with overnight shipping I saved over $50 and the store couldn't match the price!!! I like the watchband because I am a diver but could see how others wouldn't because it is sort of rubberized like normal scuba diving equipment. I haven't tried it diving yet but have showered in it and it's done fine -- no clouding or anything. I LOVE the no-battery aspect of this watch. The watch's use of solar power is just so great. I expect the glowing numbers to work well underwater as well but the glowing isn't annoying during normal use. I've had it about 6 weeks now and it's never lost time or run out of energy yet. I expect it to last for decades to come!

Dive watch first and foremost Aug 13, 2008
By JDS I bought the watch for my wife before a dive vacation. The watch was great. The thought of never having to violate the seal to change a battery is a big plus in this self-recharging Citizen watch. The watch looks the part of a sturdy, down-to-business, dive watch. We could have done without the dive table on the band, but that was a minor detraction. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a dive watch with all the function and none of the fussy style you see in so many other current dive watches.

Almost Perfect May 02, 2008
By n.o. I bought this watch as an everyday watch because it seemed durable. So far, so good. However, I still can't get used to the band. Even when I make the band loose, like a bracelet, I can still feel it on my wrist. It feels like it's tight, even though it's not. I think it's because of the way the band is made; it has grooves all around it and the grooves on the inside of the band make it uncomfortable for me. I can actually feel the pressure on my wrist. Also, I wish the date were bigger; it's a bit hard to see the number. Other than those things, I think this is a good watch.
